Yeh I'm genuinely really excited about this weekend. Full set of play offs and Hearts potentially getting it over the line.

Yes, apologies to QPR_Hibs on this board but Hearts is the big one for me. It would be wonderful, sensational if the Jambos/Jam Tarts could do it - arguably a bigger achievement than Leicester's triumph in 2016 given how rare a non-Old Firm team winning the Flag is. They need to beat Motherwell away tonight though imho - not easy. Come on the Bears tomorrow too.

As a Celtic fan I of course want them to win it but will tip my hat to Hearts if they get it done. Outstanding season from them. Lovely to see Celtic beat Rangers again last night and despite Rangers' big spending this year they've bottled the business end of the season again. Lost 3 from 3 since the split and now resigned to 3rd place. Celtic have been pretty awful for a lot of this season but despite the obvious squad weakness (and the disastrous appointment of Nancy as manager) have stayed in it and have the experience to cope with the big games. If Celtic get a result at Motherwell (which will not be easy) I think they'll win it on the last day. Entirely possible that Hearts could be champs on Wednesday though. [Post edited 11 May 12:10]

Celtic will do it now I think sadly. That 2-2 at Livingston will be Heart's Norwich moment. Fine time for a referee to suddenly strap a pair on and stick with his decision after going to the screen. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Not sure. Always possible of course Hearts bottle it in a soft home game against Falkirk but Motherwell away for Celtic is tricky with Motherwell still needing a point. Assuming both win Hearts go into the Celtic game with the draw in their favour which isn’t a bad position to be in. Wouldn’t want to be the referee for that one.

Yes, it did cross my mind the pressure that ref will be under…

Will be a great Championship loan signing for whoever gets him when Coventry have to replace him with a 6'4 player from the French league in order to survive.

Dunno how with VAR that penalty didn't get given, but according to my Hearts mate the ref is Catholic, so... Funny how Celtic v Hearts got scheduled as the last game of the season. Of course if Hearts beat Falkirk Wednesday night, and Motherwell beat Celtic, then it's all over.

Advantage Soton and MIIILLLLLLL then. Thinking a straightforward win for Soton. For some reason I think Mill and Hull will go all the way to penalties tonight.

I’ve never seen a more obvious 0-0 after 120 mins in my life. Bookmark this for the 3-3 game of the century.

How do they select refs for crunch games regards religion? I mean, I’m sure they say it doesn’t matter, but, a) really, and b) it doesn’t stop people thinking it influences decisions. Do they have a roster of atheist refs?

Looking for a Moslem referee from somewhere like Livingston. Hindu assistants and a Sikh fourth official.

Are you a Kafflik? NO, I'm not a Catholic, im Jewish. On your way, then. He goes into a Catholic area. Similar thing. Are you a Proddy? No, I'm not Protestant, I'm Jewish. Oh. On your way then. An Arab jumps out of an alley and assaults him.

Yep- can see this scenario a mile off now. I can't see Hearts getting anything infront of 60,000 Glaswegians on the final day - impossible. So sad - it would have been glorious if the Jambos could have done it.

Round about now. Threw on the big Serb lump and Hull have ripped them to shreds. List all their home playoff games!
