Yep.

MOTM, I thought.

Smythie mom for me too.
Thought Varane grew in to the game after a little bit of a shaky start.
Impressed with the back 4 today and RND has really earned his loan fee and wages again.
Ronnie looked more RR again today. Excellent free kick pass over to Paddy O’Vale who also had another good game.

It wouldn’t be us without the Gavison tablets being needs for the last 5 mins + 6 mins added on time.

Noticeable when PS went off that Koki still not adding much at the moment.
Morgan still needing more game time to knock some of those stray passes out of his game and seems like he over stretches to control the ball at times and first touch not great. But there is a player in there.
Kolli continues to impress and his performances are now catching up with his reputation which is great to see.

Kone throwing himself about as usual today and must be due another brace soon with all that hard work.

Great start to the long weekend.

He was bloody great.

I’d say several players had their bestgames this season. Smith, Edwards, Varane, RND and Kolli in his 45 mins. Vale and Kone both worked incredibly hard too. I felt that was as close to complete performance as we’ve come this season. 2-1 was a very flattering scoreline for WatfordI
thought.

Very very enjoyable indeed.

completely agree that the above all had really good games and also that Smyth was MOTM.

He’s tenacious and starting to get in the right positions further up the pitch, as well as being one of our most streetwise players. He’s a real outlet which helps when Kone can’t make every ball stick (not a criticism!)

Vale looks so tidy and killed their fullback on the 2nd goal as he was expecting to cut in on his left again, he’s Saka-like with that cut back and whip but also good enough to go on the outside.

With half our team now with their first season of championship football under their belts, expecting them to be even better next year, as per Madsen this one.

Good win!

Smyth was MOTM. Morgan was great for 3/4 of it - still learning, but great.
Also great game from Walsh , Edwards and Dunne

Smyth has always been a nearly man for many seasons.

Right now, he is way more than nearly.
Absolutely outstanding today.

And he is such an infectious, all action player, and when he plays well, not only does he give a lift to the fans, but he lifts all the players around him too.

Superb.

That was Varanes best game for ages, won the ball back so many times and used it well. Vale was excellent on the right but as Hunter syays take a bow Paul Smyth, outstanding performance and the team really dropped off when he went off

Mix them with a fully fit Chair, Madsen and BurrelL and we might really have something special.

Definetly one that JS has developed into a very good player. Long may that trend continue...

Yes, he's really improved his game with a better end product. Delighted for him. I wonder what his online haters are saying?

…and Saito came on

Lovely lad and I really feel for him, but that wasn’t good. I can see what JS was thinking, easing him back in to play himself into form against weaker oppo, butnit just ain’t happening for some reason

Superb.

Kind of a “reverse Salah.”
One can only hope that his brilliant recent performances encourage the absolute dickheads who’ve been abusing him on social media to crawl back under the rocks from whence they came.

And the last one makes him just the third player to move above OG in the (league) top scorers list.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?
