| DS v Cheshunt FC 21:50 - Apr 15 with 2415 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | 5-1 to the youngsters and into the London Senior Cup Final. Game was over after 20 minutes and 5-0 at HT. Standout was Isak Alemayehu, very good on the ball. Hatrick for Cian Dillon. 16yo winger came on for QPR, Kalen Brunson, looks a prospect. | |

Do I hear the Clive Allen klaxon sounding Bosh Seriously though it would great to bring a striker through like that, even half as good as CA
| DS v Cheshunt FC on 10:07 - Apr 16 with 1751 views | DannyPaddox | I saw Cian Dillon play in one of his first games for the Development Squad, it might have even been his debut. Either last season or the season before and he looked like the kid from Kes. Watching him last night he’s bulked up and is beginning to look the part. Just before his first goal he showed some neat footwork on the touchline to beat a couple of players and put a cross in. His first goal showed a great burst of pace from deep and overall a good reading of the game. The other two goals were relative tap-ins but both times he was in the right place. The next Clive Allen or the next Charlie Kelman? The needle on the natural-born-goalscorer-o-meter is definitely veering more towards Clive than Charlie but let’s see. Leon Scarlett was a real live wire on the left hand side too but he, like Cian the other year, has the physique of the scrawny lad from Kes. Still I can see why he’s been on the bench for the first XI. Philip Sanyaolu was impressive too. Good movement, a great shot on him, and … cliche alert … a decent touch for a big man. It’s difficult to gauge things when the opposition is Cheshunt, who, it has to be said, weren’t all bad but let Rangers play too much. Still the pace and purpose of the young Rs was great to see. Also in evidence was good communication and camaraderie between the players. The final in a couple of weeks in South London should be a lot of fun. | | | |

Hope so - he looked the part in the DS winning Cup run last season, feel he deserves a go in the first team.

Now that the season is almost over and a mid table finish (10th -17th) is looking likely, it wouldn't hurt to include Dillon in the matchday squad and bring him on as a sub for 15-20 minutes each game (longer or starting if he scores). We can then see if he is good enough, because aged 20 he should be knocking on the door for first team football like Kolli.
