Going out in style at Home - Zamora Derby Day Match Thread 10:14 - Apr 25 with 21510 viewsnumptydumpty

Not seen one up here as yet, so will take the plunge.

Trying to believe that this won't be another end of season 'dull as ditch' bore draw..

But all the signs are there.

However, I will predict my fantasy scoreline for today as it's definitely almost certainly going to happen !!!

4 - 1 Rangers

Burrell
Kone
Madsen
Chair

And then i rolled over and returned back into the land of the living....

Very hard to call. Who knows which version of QPR turn up and whether Derby think they still have a chance of the playoffs. I don't.

I'm going for a draw but with no confidence at all. So far, I've managed 3 results and 7 outcomes from 41 predictions. So, if you follow my suggestion, on your own head be it.

Can easily see yet another passive performance where half the side is already planning their month long Emperor Nero style hedonistic knees up at Manumission in Ibiza.

A 2-1 defeat and at the full time whistle, resorting to having a long line of mandrax inserted into my urethra while laying on a 18tog eiderdown and listening to Joan Armatrading's 'Willow', to gently come down off my little white fluffy cloud of season long disappointment and nothingness yet again, in supporting Queens park Rangers Football club.

See you again next year, Joan..

I guess a lot depends what happens in the 12.30 Charlton v Hull match.

Derby will 'know the score' at 3pm - either still a play-off chance for them or, if Hull win, they join us in the deck chairs.

Whatever, I still think under Eustace they'll have too much for us. 1-2 Derby.

Not asking for much . Show up and be competitive . At our best we can beat anybody. At our worst we can get absolutely hammered.

Kelman puts Charlton 1 up v Hull who appear to be on the slide. Think Derby will be up for this question is will we be?

Just about to set off from my brothers house... he was saying he thinks he hasn't missed the last game of the season for nearly 60 years... and I'm amazed he can still carry out a coherent conversation!!

This has taken every last speck of my dedication and devotion to this club to go today... I can see the DS brigade getting time.. and whoever is left standing 60 mins...

I really can't get beyond a 0-3.... Derby and Eustace will want this... we ... well pass the sombrero and the factor 50....

Team selection could be more like Nardi and Moan !

I assume he's playing for the send off but I am going to bet that he makes match winning saves, commands his box, scores a goal and generally makes fools of some people.

My worry is. - no leaders in that starting eleven.

Expect and hope to see Madsen and Chair at some stage, hopefully before the game's gone.

So confused how Nardi is starting? He's the better keeper than Walsh but we were supposed to be trying out things ahead of next season as mentioned about Cook

If it was a swansong - why didn't he do it last week when it was also Cooks? Confusing

Paul Nardi? Ok

The way Nardi has been treated makes me feel thoroughly ashamed.

He's sure to leave and I wish him all the best. He's always given his all.

Now why now with Nardi.

i personally would have preferred Nardi to be number one all season. This achieves nothing right now.

it will p*ss off Nardi, even more. No way is he wanting to stay here and dont blame him, at all. Also, why have we consistently chosen Walsh, when sadly for him and us, his everyday form has plateaued at a low level.

On the beach confirmed by team selection elsewhere also.

Good chance to say goodbye to Nardi, RND and probably Varane for those that won't be at Ipswich.

Alemayehu to come on at some point?

Amazing line up but not in a good way.

Start with Madsen, Chair and Burrell and take them off when necessary if they can’t last the whole match FFS.

Amazed to see the dynamic duo of Morgan and Supine Jon Varane in midfield... again. Don't get the persistence with playing them together, it has been abject so far. What more can JS learn about them? At least give us a chance, it's like giving Derby a guaranteed goal lead....

Le Shrug is just messing around now, throwing out combo's just to see what they do. It is all just a set up to decide who they are keeping next year

Hayden not in the squad? Injured or giving Cookie a lift somewhere? Still don't understand why Cookie isn't playing the last two games?

Never knowingly right.

Nardi can't have played much or any footy at all in 2026. He's likely to be as sharp as a blind cobbler's thumb.

Hope he plays well and gets a decent send off. Deserves that. RND as well, he's been an exceptionally good loanee for us.

Really looks a bizarre decision to say the least.

Eustace gone with an extra centre-back and an extra central midfielder.

That's not going to help us.
