Genius.. I always wondered how scenes such as this were spawned.. as i got older i realised that you are a product of your upbringing and the characters that surrounded you. as an ilalian american Scorsese tapped into his surroundings . he understood the nuances that a londoner like me couldn't possibly understand..
For us it was London and in my case east london, for many of you west London. Took me a long while to understand that.

This scene is the only good scene in this movie but it's so good.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Fantastic, nothing more needs to be said.
Every scene in that movie is a gem but when Mcmurphy declares to the head shrink that Nurse Rachet “ is somewhat of a c**t “ It was a drop the mic moment.

Erroll Chldress ... redneck inbred hillbilly and child abductor in his deep south midden flipping into James mason clipped tones is quite possibly the best acting i have ever seen...
