I was lucky enough to be given a load of old QPR footage from QPR fan Rik Anstee so am slowly putting it all online, a lot of games that I don't think have been seen before likes of South Shields, several games against Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd from the 70's, a 6-1 cup win over West Ham.
I'll keep them all on the same thread but going to be putting up one a day over the next few weeks.
First one is from 1968, our second ever win in the top flight against Sheffield Wednesday

Dave I recently watched something about Sunderland, still can’t remember what and maybe it will come to me later, showing home made hand held footage of the game against us after they won the fa cup. Francis running style couldn’t be missed.

Rik is a QPR fan he has been collecting footage of old matches for years, his collection is insane. We worked together on making videos for the 75/76 night and he was kind enough to give me a few extra games, he's got tons more but I don't like to bombard him.
I look forward to the film of that 6-1 cup win against West Ham. They scored first but then we overwhelmed them. Mrs Kernowhoop and I were in the front row of the SA Road stand

Youtube is quite a phenomenon. Can watch almost anything in history on there, which is made. I occasionally while away a dull day watching things from the past.
Although, time to come out the closet. The other day, i decided to te revisit a classic memory of the past, in the indomitable " Terry and June". Realised my error ten minutes in, but ten minutes of my life, i wont get back !!!!!
This is a match that I missed as I was playing on Saturday's that season - Wycombe Combination Division 2 champions (unbeaten in the league)! I was at LR on the Tuesday before to see us beat Ipswich for our first win.

Two home wins in a week wd also beat Ipswich (?) 2 1 and thought we were on our way but it was sadly a long time befire we won again against very angry Terry Hennesay for forest Again I think. Stand to be corrected on that one. Hope you gave tge man utd game where we lost 32 agaibst Law, Best Charlton etc.

FA cup against a non league team i presume in South Shields and a team that had Gillard, Clements, Venables, Marsh and Francis.
No weakened team for that game and we actually won too !!!
South Shields sound a cut above Vauxhall Motors, so good job we didnt approach the cup tie as a 2020s outfit giving all and sundry a chance.

In the current South Shields club house there is a photo of captains Dave Adams and Terry Venables shaking hands before the kick off to this match. I'm sure a few of their fans will be interested in this great footage too.

Thanks Dave we would have been at the game with my Dad in 68 because I don't think we missed a home game that season, I can't remember now whether we stood in the Loft or the Paddock for that one, keep posting.
