As my son is involved in youth football there are dozens of clubs, how can you scout all of that?
Why do we keep assuming they 'got away'. There are so many permutations as to how each boy progresses. We ourselves have had boys in from all over the country, does that mean their local League club also let them 'get away'? |  | | |

Reading got absolutely zilch for him.
I can't recall the players in question but I'm sure there was something going around that over two seasons back then Reading let a few leave on freebies and within the next couple of years those players had attracted c£100Mill in transfer fees.
Reading had no sell on entitlements at all.

He was there at the same time as my three girls but from a young age he was already in academies so not allowed to play for his school.
I worked with a guy a couple of years back who son was in Saka’s class in Greenford - you only have look at that face to know everyone loved him. |  |
