I have tickets for SOAD on Weds next week, and my son just told me that would be when England would be in the WC semi-final.

Never seen SOAD live before. Missed England's QF against France at Qatar - was at my Mum's birthday party.

I'd say they have 2 good albums, the first 2. After that, pretty bleh.

As for the other comment saying the World Cup only comes around every 4 years, System of a Down have not played in the UK for 9 years. It seems the band have a very strained relationship so you can't guarantee they would come back again.

I've seen some videos of their shows in Europe and they have looked great, 30 songs, 2 hour set. The concert is an in person experience, watching England is just on the TV. Go to the concert and watch England in the final.

it is really really expensive in fairness. I'm only going cos we got free tickets for living nearby, and they were fairly late which I'm sure means we got returns cos someone wanted to watch England
