Wasnt aware the third place play off winners get bronze medals.
If I was a player - clearly not - but if my team had just missed out on reaching the final of the most prestigious competition in world football, would be very difficult to motivate yourself to be up for this one.
Just my opinion though.

I'm with you, Numpty.
As a player, and as a squad, you were one step away from the best day of your life. It didn't happen. Now you're all playing for a compensation prize.
I think winning it might be a nice bonding exercise for a growing team that wasn't expected to win the World Cup this time but is coming (maybe), but for a country who compete and win regularly then it might be somewhere between a non-event and a burden.
