Hello, Ellersie is closed tomorrow so I can’t watch from my normal seat. (I’m a season ticket holder). I normally sit with my kids in w/X block at the back so we can stand and see the pitch.
Where’s the best place to sit tomorrow so I can see the pitch. I’m thinking South Africa Gold seats.

I'd say not the very front rows of the Lower Loft, as I think from memory you effectively can't see the goal line from there as a child (and maybe as an adult). One of my kids quite likes sitting in Lower Loft though as you feel very close etc - maybe paddocks could feel the same and a different view if you are always high up?
Otherwise in S Africa Rd I guess the main thing is to try and avoid the pillars blocking the goals / most of the penalty area. | |

I’ve gone for Loft upper at the back. Block KU.
I’ve sat in Ellersie for 40 years and only other areas were back in the 80’s loft lower terraces.
Sat in South Africa once in the front and couldn’t see the near touchline. | | | |

I've seen the same, I've sat mostly Loft Upper or Ellerslie - I don't remember having massive issues wiith the sun from S Africa Rd but maybe that was time of the year and / or KO time. | |

My old ST was at the front of the LL and I remember on several occasions while getting soaked in some downpour. Q block etc singing "we're not getting wet, we're not getting wet"
I laughed even though I was soaked. I had all the leg room though . | |

'tis true. It's either a sun-drenched paradise as it will be tomorrow or it's like Clooney in the perfect storm. Back row of Paddock escapes the rain if it's coming down straight. |  |
