... from the live stream.

Random thoughts:

Cousins:
Great to see him get a solid 60 mins, a lot of our play came down that side in that hour. He's got class, and could - and should - be a big player for us if he stays fit.

Bidwell and Robinson:
Bidwell had a great game, my joint man-of-the-match with Luongo. I like the partnership Bidwell and Robinson are building, allowing Robinson to get forward on occassion which is important because he's got pace and a great diagonal ball on him.

The back three in general:
Magnificent. Baptiste got absolutely done for pace for their goal, but was a rock otherwise. Robinson continues to look like he's always played CB. Lynch had a much better game than when I last saw him, although giving away that freekick on 95 minutes had me swearing loudly.

Luongo:
Our captain is magnificent. He's the complete midfielder at the moment. Apart from lack of goals.... But some of the tackles were superb, he was all over the pitch, and was the engine driving us forward at 1-1.

Smith:
Does what it says on the tin doesn't he. Great, great header for the goal . Should have scored one 10 minutes before that (from a cross from the outside of Bidwell's boot -- Taarabt eat your heart out!), but a great option from the bench.

Wszolek:
Not the player we knew still, looked shakey when he came on, and sold Furlong really short in injury time when we had a good chance to sling a cross in. Good that Cousins can now challenge for RWB.

Bidwell played like the player we thought we'd signed from the Bees today. Absolutely outstanding and led by example.

UGH!

Missed the match (annual class cold, cased me to oversleep.) Doubly disappointing as I faithfully watched the string of draws leading up to today.

Let's hope Tuesday's performance is as good.

(BTW. do the clocks go back in the UK tonight? I'd hate to miss another game for that reason.

Yes clocks back tonight. Recommend watching the highlights on the offish. Hell of a match.

Sorry, not sorry, but Cousins was our least effective player today by a distance. I am not holding to blame though as he isn't a right wing back, that one is down tothe coaching staff and manager. Wszolek is a much better option there. Luongo deffo MOTM today with Bidwell second IMO.

The grass is always greener.

Wow, that's interesting. Maybe I was blinded by my relief at seeing him back and looking fit but I thought he looked effective; one first half cross in particular comes to mind, and stark contrast to Wszolek who failed to put a single cross in over 30 mins I think?

More generally his touch is good and looks to me like he reads the game than most at this level. I do remember thinking he was wasted on the right when played there previously but I wouldn't want the current CM three disrupted unless injuries required it

Disclaimer : I'm going off the stream so missed stuff off the ball obviously

From the halfway line in the Ellerslie Cousins looked like he had been out for a year and Wolves exploited it. He is not a RB and is not not the midfielder that ripped us a new one when palying for Charlton a few seasons ago when he was in the centre. However, I have faith that after less than 20 games in since he arrived he will come good. He pulled out of a few 50/50 balls on the floor (understandable after his time out). We just haven't found his best position yet.

Cousins has only played 70 minutes for the under 23s at Charlton two weeks ago so it was a huge gamble for him to start. Started off well but as the game wore on in the first half he was getting caught in possession, did an impersonation of a Perch 'tackle' at one point which should have resulted in a yellow card, went missing for their goal and as Wolves players celebrated the first thing the ref did was walk over to him and showed him a yellow for a foul in the lead up to the goal (this hasn't been noticed by BBC or Sky reports). It was only time before he would be subbed in my opinion but fair play to him for lasting 63 minutes.

That's how I saw it with Cousins.

Thought Lynch was very good today, in fact none of the starting eleven had a poor game and Smith is a great option off the bench.

Think that Robinson wasn't a centre back before the start of this season.
Is it possible Cousins could be re-modelled?

But what a performance. Props to Bidwell, Robbo, Lynch (never thought I'd say that!) Luongo........and that's for starters!

I am with FDC on Cousins, for the same reason.

I saw Cousins a few times last season, and he looked a complete clodhopper.

Yesterday we went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the division, the game was fast and furious, it got quite tasty at times, so we needed players with a hard edge (but who could still play), and I thought Cousins served that role pretty well.

Good team performance and the things that have been going against us, went for us today.

Their penalty appeal and sitter missed in 2nd half.

That's not to say we didn't deserve it - we did.

Wolves played some lovely football, but only on the break, sustained attacking play was from us and Smithies had one save to make.

About 40th minute and then onwards, their players started moaning at referee (who was excellent) - always a sign that you have the other team rattled.

Well done Olly and the boys!
