Tell me about it. I was misdiagnosed on three occasions over a 48 hour spell. Even when I was admitted to hospital and my appendix had perforated they still weren’t sure. So instead of going in at the side as they would normally, they opened me up right down the middle to have a rummage around.
Appendix removed, eight inch scar left as a reminder. |  | | |

When I had appendicitis I tried to keep playing cricket, despite going completely ashen faced and doubled up, each over took me about 10 minutes before I was ordered to lie down. I then insisted I just had indigestion and attempted to cure it with fizzy water before conceding defeat and going to hospital |  | | |
