Silly question but... 08:54 - Aug 7 with 1646 viewsloftboy

What’s the reason behind there being two championship games tonight whilst no one else plays this week?

From a business perspective, its pretty smart

Instead of playing all the midweek Championship matches on one Tuesday or Wednesday, Sky can get more matches on TV if you spread them out

Unfortunately, it somewhat distorts the competition...

QPR played last Saturday and has 7 days to only prepare for Sheff United

United also played last Saturday, but have to travel to Boro to play today go back home and then come down to London to play on Saturday... in addition to player fatigue, the management has less time to scout/prepare for us

2 teams with a 100% losing record this season, what could possibly go wrong?

The grass is always greener.

Forest looked pretty decent last night against a WBA team that had a fair few names playing for them.

We'll probably break the hoodoo this year after getting battered and nicking it 0-1.

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Its bound to happen this season as I can’t make the game this year because of work commitments.
I only watched the 2nd half last night and it seemed to be end to end action for the last 20 mins.
