I always liked it as a running-out song: written by an R, there's a specific QPR reference at the end (the opening words of "Singing the blues", faded out because they couldn't get the rights), good ominous but stirring beat: "all the faraway towns" (Preston, Huddersfield...). Oh yeah, and it's a rock classic, not some commercialised pap.
But if we don't want people stealing it maybe we should cherish it and treat it as our own, instead of dumping it for stuff with zero connection to the club. | | | |
