For me it is hard to say, however we would require 14 points from the remaining games to beat last seasons total which is a tough ask as would mean we would need to win 4/5 of those games. We should have been a better side this year with the loan signings we made along with the fact a large number of this squad have has another year to play together. at times we have played some nice football but those times have been very rare in recent months
I think we're about the same but I think we should actually have improved. Our younger players like BOS and Furlong have got more experience and we've had some expensive loan signings in. Our biggest losses have been Robinson and Smithies but the loan signings plus Lumley should have more than balanced that out. Onuouha has both strengths and weaknesses, e.g. making foul-ups at least once a game which balance out Leistner who doesn't have the athleticism but is more solid in my view. Up front we've got better options in Wells than Washington.

about the same for me which is a huge disappointment as it was apparently just Holloway and him playing 3 at the back which was holding us back from a bright future.
McClaren has done OK, our best this season has been better than last year but overall we don't seem to have moved forward although we do still have a fair few games left so that could change.

There is a number of games to go and according to our posters we should win a few of those to soften the blow of our miserable 2019. Is it the players ,the system or the Manager.after the Brenford game we had a week to get ready yet the performance was actually worse being at home and having an extra man. Have the players forgotten how to play or are they instructed to keep it tight then try for a winning goal from a set piece or fast break. Why does SM not switch things up like starting Manning or doing a Holloway and putting out a completely different formation.I know it was one of his most controversial moves but at least it freshened it up and got the fans interest. I feel like the life has been sucked out of the fans who are paying their hard earned money down to watch this rubbish and they deserve better .

I have been subjected to a lousy 1% pay rise every year since 2010, and been told that will be the case for the next 2 years rubbishing the PM's theory that austerity is over. On top of that, media types are earning over £400 grand a year whilst reporting on the Brexit fiasco that has turned ordinary folk into rabid dogs. Perhaps the two factions can recreate the Civil War with Brexiteers being the Cavaliers and Remainers the Roundheads. Modern Britain is self imploding and my one escape away from the madness is following this calamity football club. Instead of being a pleasure it has degenerated into a terrible ordeal.
This club loves setting new unwanted records like getting 6 players booked in stoppage time in one game or one of the few times this club might win a trophy, then jeopardise it, so we were all anxiously awaiting to see if points would be lost and promotion thwarted. When we break a hoodoo we always replace it with another one. There we all were rejoicing at breaking the Nottingham jinx back on 22 December only to then embark on setting up a new unwanted club record.

It is almost three months since winning a Saturday match and we only have five more to play so maybe we can create another fabulous unwanted memoir for our history by going the whole of the second half of a season without a Saturday victory. Let's cop a plea to the Football League and ask if we can play Leeds in our last 10 fixtures, but not on a Saturday, as we might win a couple of games as they appear to be the only Championship team we can beat.
West Brom sack a manager after recently winning eight away games in a row whilst we settle for mediocrity. Like with my austerity driven life, how apt that I support an austerity team, Queens Austerity Rangers, so my one escape from a paupers reality is prohibited.
The last three games has barely seen us muster a shot, we seem to be getting worse with each passing Saturday. So all in all, my vote is that this season is worse than last season as we have amassed an incredible 5 points in 2019 and there is nothing to look forward to next season by all accounts whilst both me and my club continue to wallow in austere times.

The frustrating thing is that - once again - we've been fantastic in certain games and lacklustre in the extreme in others, and these often seem to be in sequences.
"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.
Wildly inconsistent as always, but the quality of football and team spirit is much improved under Steve Mc. I've even enjoyed watching a few of our games when we've lost!
after the first four games this season has surpassed all expectations and we look set to compelte the objective of staying up. but is this season any better than last yes a nice cup run in the fa cup shame we couldn't go one step further in the league cup

We will most likely finish 18th with about 51 points. The gap below us is probably too much for the Fakes to close and no one above us is playing badly enough for us to overtake.
So 18th with 51 points vs last season's 16th with 56 points. On the face of it we seem to have declined further, but it somehow feels to me like a more settled team than when Ollie was in charge.

For a long period yes. After the awful first 4 games we were basically in top 6 form for 4 months. Then of course it all fell apart with a combination of shocking luck in a few games and then the dip in confidence that a run of losses brings leading to poorer performances. Injuries haven't helped either.

Mr Hammond is on his feet now banging on about wage increases which is not the reality for those who indirectly work to the government of the day in the public services. With everything going up in price at higher rates than our derisory 1% pay increase every year it is a greater struggle with each passing year.
This is mirrored with our football team. Each season becomes a greater battle to keep heads above water. It is hard to progress these days when starved of cash.

The rest, bar Freeman, wouldn't improve any side at this level, whoever the manager is.
If it were possible, which it isn't, the club should hang onto the four above but tell the rest to find a new club or take a 50% wage cut.
Up until Xmas, the answer was a resounding, yes!!
Injuries have killed us, we have no natural DM’s at the club, plus too many harriers in midfield and no ball players, if only Goss had a “football heart”, Dorothy help!
Hall has been a major plus, Lumley, Freeman, the young lads getting more game time on loan and in the first team, so add Eze, Chair, Smyth, BOS, Shodipo coming back and a few little gems on the horizon from the youth set up, if the recruitment is on point in the summer, I believe progress has been made.
