Trying to remember the game when Mark Hately scored and cupped his ear to end up with a barrage of abuse from the lower loft where I was sitting rather than celebrations.

I was watching a Baggio doc recently, and his agent used to be Antonio Caliendo (remember him?) He helped engineer his controversial move from Fiorentina to Juve. Don't know why he didn't manage the same for QPR...

I remember him cupping his ear at Wimbledon away in the cup when he scored...

Across the whole 4 seasons from 92-96 we won 59 games. If you watch the 4 Sky programmes over those 4 seasons they show about 10 of them, but about 30 defeats.
Even at the end they say we returned to the championship with Bolton, despite the fact that we hadn’t been there for 14 seasons.
Bastards hate us.

That spurs game and Barker’s penalty still haunt me to this day
The 95/96 season we constantly shot ourselves in the foot

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

We'd never been in the Championship.
We were founder members of the Premier League; the old second division changed its name during the decade or more we weren't in it.

I couldn’t remember exactly the words that Georgie Thompson used, but she definitely said we returned to the division below as if we went back there after a year or two in the premier league rather than a regular member of the top division.

I knew when we lost meekly to Wimbledon at home early doors we were in almighty peril.

True. The frustrating thing about that momentous season (the outcome of which, arguably, has defined our modern history ever since) is that, for all the agonies, we were so close to survival - finishing strongly with great performances at a packed, buzzing Loftus Road (Southampton, Everton, West Ham) and putting in good shifts right across the season (Spurs Home (very unlucky) , Leeds Away, Villa Home and, as you say, at Hillsborough).

Highfield Road - still hurts.....

The Newcastle home game as well was another game we should have got at least a point from had it not been for another defensive fúck up. We got ourselves back in the game through Dichio shortly after Les had given them the lead and then that utter arse Ready attempts a backpass to Sommer.....Gillespie can't believe his luck.

Nowadays Super Ray wouldnt have lasted the whole season. The panic button would have been and should have been pressed around November time.

Oh god yeah , we played them off the park that day Sinclair was unplayable and you just knew that c0ck up would cost us
