Bristol city cup match 08:47 - Jul 1 with 1700 viewsPikey

Let's hope they open all home areas for this one. Can never understand why upper loft is shut when lower open how much does it cost to steward . Also school holidays surely some clever marketing could attract kids along. Finally how many dont go because the view from SA is so poor and seats even more cramped than the loft with half time a real crush in the foyer areas. Come on Rs open the ground and see if the numbers increase.

We have this conversation every year and we never attract more than 5k so why waste even more money by opening all 4 sides ???

There simply is not the demand for opening other parts of the ground

Poll: Of the 3 linked away, who do you think will still be a QPR player come February?

When have they tried to see if there is a demand or drum up a demand.? If it wasn't for a few hours in the crown I'd give it a miss. There are folk around me in upper loft who would go if they had a choice rather than south Africa road.
I know nothing will change but thats more due to apathy rather than anything else.

They used to just shut Ellerslie road and crowd was still tiny so more areas get shut now

I'm sorry but that is nonsense. When we used to open all 4 sides we got crowds as low as 6k. Nothing has changed. Even when got cup tickets with season tickets we would still only attract 6-8k

You should be asking why 'fans' don't bother in the league cup??? If the club charged £1 some will still say it's too expensive.

Couldn't agree more, the club have given some brilliant prices in recent cup matches, where kids could go for £1 and adults for like £5 yet the fans still didn't come in large numbers. Seems the fans simply are not interested in cup games unless its against a top premier league side

Play it at the Linford Christie stadium. The terraced seated enclosure holds about 250. Should be enough for a reserve game against Bristol City. Usually a few cold beers in the Clubhouse fridge too.

We are not very supported.

Rubbish cup team, up there as one of the worst in the land.

Rangers don't always price it well all though last year I think it was quid a kid.

Last year Lower loft was defiantly open with access to Blue n White bar, not 100% but think Upper Loft may have been open.

Bristol City twice in 3/4 days is not very appealing.

Upper loft was not open that's my point really how much more would it cost to open upper when the lower is open ? No complaint about pricing of the cup matches .
