The missus surprised me the other day. She informed me she was trying to buy me a season ticket (not had one for ten years now - tend to pick and choose) as she thinks I'm spending too much time DIY'ing and it's making me somewhat miserable. Anyway she goes on to tell me that it's not very easy, so gave up.
If the current sentiment of our fanbase is anything to go by, I think she (and I) may have had a lucky escape. If she thinks I'm miserable now, imagine how insufferable I'll be after she's shelled out £500 for a season ticket to watch us being torn a new one every other week, as well as wasting my Saturday afternoon/Monday evening or whatever time Sky deem suitable for their scheduling.
I do genuinely hope next season sees us safe, over the FFP constraints and we can look forward to 20-21 and being able to spend a few quid again.
Pass me the brickdust and lime plaster cocktail please dear.

I gave mine up a while ago and like you select the games I want to go too. This was normally pay on the day or through a friend who works in the box office. I went online this morning to get 3 tickets for Watford, selected the seats I wanted (had to do individually) then no option how to progress the screen. It may be a system error it may be my browser but no such issues with Amazon etc. Why do we make it so hard for people wanting to spend their money. I gave up in the end, if i feel like it tomorrow will drive from Gloucester and pay on the day. |  | | |
