Mourinho was seven games into his first season with the most expensive team ever put together in the history of football and six points off the lead and he goes to play a team that hasn't kept a clean sheet all year and yet he plays $hite, cowardly anti-football with six backs and two Glenn Whelans, the big lad up front gets one chance and nods it down to an imaginary player instead of doing what any lad would do and score.
Liverpool meanwhile have the artistry and subtly of a hungover Donald Trump and their manager seems shocked by Mourinho playing the same ass-backward gutter tactics that he's played every time he plays a team that have a lad that can run a 100m in under 15 seconds.
The amazing, amazing thing is that I've spent my entire lifetime watching Liverpool and Man Utd get dodgy, corrupt, filthy and despicable penalties and the one time...the one fugging time...I could have done with one to keep me awake neither team gets close enough to fall over and get one.

Sky Sports subscriptions are too expensive. The football is also getting worse in entertainment value as more and more teams do what Mourinho did last night. When was the last time a game bigged up by Sky was an absolute barnstormer? I can't remember.
Football, the Premier League, is peaking now. Unless the entertainment value improves or the players re-connect with the fans the only way is down from here. |  | | |

Didn’t watch the game. Forgot it was on and don’t care about either team.
But it sounds like another deathly dull dollop of modern football. Boring as sin, overhyped and expensively pointless.
Given that we just endured probably the worst football tournament anyone can remember are we surprised that our domestic teams are just as bad.
Most teams seem to have players that cannot take a sodding corner or cross a ball. The football is pass, pass, pass, pass and sod all at the end. No one wants to attack and we have to pay through the nose to watch it. Either at the game or on the telly.
We are the biggest mugs in all this though. We support our teams no matter what and the media/ football authorities know this.
Only one thing will change this and that’s an all out supporters strike. |  | | |

Who's complaining? I only caught the game by chance and turned over to Film Four as soon as the final whistle went. I just posted my assessment of the game. Walter Mitty was on Film Four btw. Nice film. Love the skateboarding scene. | |
