Coeur de Lion perhaps would be the market leader. You can even get that over here nowadays.
It's like Anchor butter, say. You wouldn't pick it as a particularly good Brie (or Camembert), but it'll perform solidly nonetheless. A 7 out of 10. Usually, they aren't strong, rather very mild.
Camembert...remember to check the strength. A ripe Camembert is not the same as an unripe one. Taste amazing, but the smell is enough to cause a divorce in most cases. A hidden Camembert once smelt so bad, it caused an actual fight on a bus trip i was on. |  | | |
