Also planning on going later this year and most likely using Air BnB so any other recommendations on places to stay appreciated. Thanks! Great to have all the suggestions so far on what to do and where to eat. Really helpful |

Perhaps no surprise but Bath City for me. Live within walking distance but only usually go once or twice per season. Doing a bit better this season than recent years but doubt they will get promoted to the NL. Always seem to go out of the F.A. Cup in the final qualifying round before the first round proper too. |

Happy New Year to you and all here on LFW too. Hopefully 2024 will bring an improvement in results! Don't post often but would like to reiterate what others have said. Thank you so much for all your hard work and brilliant writing. It really is second to none and really appreciated. The Patreon subscription is worth every penny to help keep this site going, and hopefully AKUTRs too. Thanks again. |

I'm sure QPR get a very brief mention in Jo Nesbo's Headhunters. |

Charlie Austin's goal away at Southampton in the Premier League season when he had his back to goal, flicked the cross up with one foot and volleyed it in. Is there any footage of that? |

Went there for 3 nights last summer and thought it was a great city to visit. We picked up a walking tour map from tourist information and followed a route round the city centre, cathedral and harbour front. Took a short boat ride out to the island of Suomenlina which is an old fortress island. If I remember correctly the boat ticket is included in with day tickets for the trams. Loads of bars and restaurants. We had a great lunch at Allas restaurant and the top of it is an open air bar overlooking the harbour: https://www.allasrestaurants.fi/en/etusivu-en/ There's also loads of street food stalls along the harbour front (called Kauppatori) if you fancy grabbing something quick and easy. Everyone speaks English and you might even see Niko Hämäläinen!! |

Looking on the Kiyan Prince Foundation social media pages, looks like the following have been confirmed so far to take part: Kojo Anim Avelino Jay Bothroyd Slim Comedian Maxwell D Nathan Dyer James English Yung Filly Mo Gilligan David Harewood Harvey Alex Horne Russell Howard Ibi David James Charlotte Lynch Jeremy Lynch Leon McKenzie Nedum (Onuoha?) Dr Emeka Okorocha Harry Pinero Harmony Samuels Danny Simpson Mark Wright Mangers: Carlton Cole, Harry Redknapp |

Went for a few days last summer and really enjoyed visiting it. It is expensive but seems safe and there's no language problem because everyone speaks English and a lot of signs, menus etc are in English too. There no shortage of pubs, bars and restaurants - pizza and pasta seemed most common. Couldn't find many places open for breakfast, not many places open before 11:00am, but would recommend Greasy Spoon on Hagagatan. It was so popular for brunch, there was a queue out the door. They take a mobile number and text when your table is free. Depends what you like doing but some suggestions: - visit the old town and Royal Palace on Gamla Stan - take a boat trip around the islands - loads of museums including of course the ABBA museum - take some beers and food to the hillside at Skinnarviksberget and watch the sun set over the city skyline with everyone else |

You're welcome! Glad to be of help. To be honest, I wouldn't remember many of them myself off the top of my head, apart from the obvious ones that we all remember. But any time you post these player connection threads, I'll usually have a quick look back through the records of the other team's squads over the years and pick out names that also played for QPR. |
