It's the squandering of money that's so flipping weird. Free school meals for every child - can the vast majority of the country really not find the time or money to spend c.40p a day for a bowl or cereal, slice of toast/fruit. Why the fck should the state and our taxes pay for this.
It's the same for prescriptions - because i've had a thyroid prescription for for the past 15 years or so, all my other prescriptions for completely different ailments as they happen are free. I can afford to pay for the occasional prescription yet i don't have to...not a Labour policy but still it's nuts.
And the contentious subject of VAT of private school fees is now costing more than it's raising as anyone with half a financial brain cell predicted.
And giving overseas aid to nuclear countries like India and Pakistan is just crazy.

Cefalu is great. Laid back coastal scene, some great bars and eating and good swimming. If you go in the other direction towards Trapani...Scopello is one beautiful place, with the most magical swimming from the old disused tuna fishery building (it's now super cool with bars etc). |

Looking to get the ferry from Bari in Italy to Patras in Greece before moving onto the islands. Bari - anyone been? Thinking of spending 2-3 days there before getting on board the ferry - is this worth doing? |

When i bought some years ago an old (but beautiful) Merc CLK convertible, one of my mates rather cruelly described it a hairdressers car. Imagine my schadenfreude when a month later his wife bought one of these pooches which he walks daily. |

Goalkeeper situation and a tepid midfield without Madsen. Oh and the the constant drip of water when it's raining from the SA stand up above, that the club laughably fixed with gaffer tape a couple of years ago. |

I actually enjoyed the game mostly until they got their 3rd. We were playing some lovely stuff for the first half and into the second. Lost all momentum and fluidity with the subs. |
