This thread could go on for pages and pages and it still wouldn't be enough for what we have witnessed from them this World Cup. It was probably fitting that they saved the best for the whole world to see. Poetic justice that they lost in ET.

Their reggae stuff was brilliant I thought. The b side of the 12 of London Calling had the brilliant Armagideon Time on it. Sadly that full version is not on Spotify but here is another list of their reggae stuff I put together.

Fair enough and point well made.

Good to see another Clash fan on here. Second only to New Order/JD as my favourite band. Sadly, I never got to see The Clash. They played at the Croydon Greyhound but you had to be 16 to get in and I was around 13 at the time.

Sandinista is an unusual choice for this thread. I love The Clash and the best tracks from that album would make a fantastic album, but there is a good few duds on there as well imo.
