WTAF? QRP coins? if they can't get the clubs name right then I have zero confidence in using it.

Derry was shifted out fairly quickly, closely followed by Mackie and Hill was made club captain and stopped complaining about his fellow players. This all seems to fit in what the dressing room was about in those days. The foreign factions created in the dressing room were a direct result of several of the older promotion team players making their feelings known in training. Bartons treatment of Zamora was nothing to be proud of in a human being either. Barton wasn't as good a player as he imagined himself to be and he had a habit of being a complete bully boy in the dressing room. For the sake of full disclosure, this information is second hand from one of the 1st team coaches at the time that I used to see and chat to at games.

He wasn't violent that I ever saw but he was definitely reckless and loved practical jokes which often involved a degree of peril or destruction.

Cheers, I grew up with a love of music and was very lucky to be involved in the Ladbroke Grove scene as a young teen (hence my love of the Pink Fairies) I got introduced to David Jones at a Fairies gig once by Sandy R.I.P. and he became famous later in life LOL. My ex Bro in law was in a band signed to Stiff so I used to get to go to quite a few backstage parties after gigs and met Ian Dury & his manager Cosmo Vinyl, Wreckless Eric, Larry Wallis and Elvis Costello & The Attractions, around the time that Steve Nieve was getting rinsed by a gorgeous looking American girl (allegedly) I also got backstage with Blondie at Hammersmith Odeon once too but they didn't really mingle much. I also used to drink in the Queens Head in Hayes around the time it was Sweet's local and have a tale or two about that concerning just how hard as nails Steve Priest was, despite appearances. I used to see Jeff Beck & Jimmy Page around Hayes occasionally too as they had a flat together in Craven Close? I think it was. I also used to see Keith Moon and Viv Stanshall around at a few places but stayed well clear as Moon the loon wasn't an affectionate pet name. I was very lucky to have grown up in a time where there were so many good bands to go and see and they were generally approachable when not playing.

For a band that lasted 17 years these are hardly even heard of, let alone forgotten.

As long as games are finished and the fans out by 22:00 it will be perfectly safe to attend football matches.

Bus Stop version of my joke...
I went for a job at a fishmongers. The owner said I could have the job if I could name 3 fish beginning with 'K'. I said 'Knifefish, Kingfish and Kilmarnock'. He said 'Kilmarnock?'.
I said 'yes it’s a plaice in Scotland'....

It was pre Woodstock when he was still an unknown musician living in London (and releasing ring necked parakeets? LOL)

Vinegar Joe, Kilburn & The High Roads, Elton John & Bernie Taupin, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Dr Feelgood, Pogue Mahone.
*Edit. I have since remembered Jimi Hendrix at The Farx in Souhall, The Nice at the same venue and I used to sit on the wall outside and listen to Deep Purple rehearse in the bass players garage.

Someone I knew at the club those days got me the whole 90 mins on VHS and I still have it. He also got me the QPR vs WHU game where Pizanti scored a screamer.

Growing veggies in the garden and getting stuck into XBox games. I have always read a lot so nothing new there.
The potatoes we grew have been delicious so far. The apples got destroyed by a nasty hailstorm at a critical point in their development back in April/ May time. Strawberries were delicious and the tomatoes tasted nice.

The answer surely is to have a 3 hour grouse shoot at the KPFS which clashes with a QPR football match?

QPR win 5-0 Mide Shodipo scores from the penalty spot after Ody Alfa gets fouled in the area. Our 4th was an OG following a cross. They should definitely look at getting the Academy games streamed again. They were always a good watch and gave you some insight in to who was looking like they would make it etc.

Just scored a corker by all accounts too. He and Smyth are having good games and Oteh has two goals.
Marcin Brzozowski is having a good game too.
