I echo that.

She is very good at her daytime job but as an analyst I have never warmed to her.
High pressure, double press, low support option, high support option, FFS.
How many different ways can one person find, to the say the same thing.

Same here.

The Premiere League will contrive a way of keeping them up, via VAR in the other matches involving West Ham, Forest and Burnley.
Spurs won't have to win many, because the other teams won't be allowed to.

You and me both.

League Cup Winners 1967 - On this day
at 17:23 4 Mar 2026

My father was there along with my grandfather, all of my uncles and probably more cousins than I have ever met, I was 11 months old.

I have the program, I may even have two, but my younger brother who took over the program collection when our father passed away, brags that he has the 1967 League Cup Final program in his loft.

I cant wait to see his face when he looks for it.

Mine were simple, until I had so many memory jogs from this thread but I will go with.

1. The Godfather/The Godfather 2
2. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
3. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

This is an open goal, he has crossed it over, just needs someone to nod it in.

Dave Clement

Like many others, I was lucky enough to see both Dave Clement and David Bardsley.

The two best England right backs of their generations and both should have won a lot more caps than they did.

I have always found it difficult to separate the two but this as reminded me, Dave Clement was nails.

Kone

2024, Kone was playing in the Essex senior league.
I agree that we have found a gem, via Wycombe, and we need to polish it.

I didn't think he played badly against Norwich, some of the link up play between him and Burrell was very good.
Drifting out wide doesn't suit him or the rest of the team but I honestly think he is going to be a very good player for us.

The second Burrell offside was a real headscratcher.

I understand when the ball is initially played forward and a player is offside but challenges for the ball in an onside position, he is given offside due to his position on the first passage of play.
This one had the ball travelling both forward and back while he was onside, which surely means the original offside no longer applied.

What really irritates me are the USA wives, especially in 1999 when Olazabal still had a putt to tie the match and tournament, but had to wait until all the screaming players and wives got off the green.
Its got nothing to do with them, stay in the background or stay at home.

Myke, have a day off FFS

He is full on, totally committed and an athlete who is prepared to give his all.

Due diligence was done and that is why is is a QPR Player, the type we need.

Hot Cross Buns
at 11:04 19 Apr 2025

100% agree.

My wife will never pick up the six for a £1 pack, she always comes home with the dark/white chocolate, added orange and whatever.
I complain and she replies, I thought you liked them.

I do like hot cross buns, normal hot cross buns. Simple.

Adding a slice of cheese should not be a thing.

She did very well.

Their first goal was a tricky call and one that we did not all agree with, but I did notice that the screaming and shouting was definitely dialed down a few notches.
Rather than "Lino do your Effing job, why are you here you useless......"
We got "Come on Lino, did you not see that"

Same in Ellerslie.
My memory tells me that the pints had a plastic lid on them, could be wrong.

I recall a chap demanding that they pour him a fresh Guinness as that is the only way it should be served or drank, held the queue up for what seemed like an age.

Like a lot on here, 1976 had me bawling, I was young but probably would have bawled at any age.

Fast forward to Stan passing away and I found myself welling up every time I saw a clip of him and it lasted for weeks.
