It's possible he didn't make the fitness numbers so has to work on it for a week.

I think it's to stop traffic heading east from the A40 going down Old Oak Road towards the Uxbridge Road from cutting through Steventon, Sawley and down Bloemfontein or one of the others to get to the Uxbridge Road. Kind of understandable but definitely annoying.

I really thought I was being foolish staying up late for this but so glad I did now.

Thought the ref got the big decisions right but he did get a lot of small ones wrong. I assume he was impacted by the home support.

Also, he barely had control of the match and didn’t manage it well at all, hence a few flare ups which he has to take some of the blame for. 6/10 performance is generous.

That may be due to the changes in leasehold regulation that may be in the works which will give more protection to leaseholders and remove the egregious money making opportunities the lease owners currently have. Things might change when that all settles down?

Eckert’s arrival saw them go from a 25% win rate to a 75% win rate with the same players.

Clearly he’s a very clever coach but that’s still a heck of a new manager bounce and surely could only have been achieved with as much opposition information as they could get, either by following the rules or not.

I’d be giving him a long ban and increasing that points deduction so it reflects a lot more than 2 games of spying.

I think the difference is that the spying rule that was broken is an EFL competition rule and thus is administered by the EFL. The FA administers the Laws of the Game so will be looking at it differently. They also are responsible for stuff like the managers qualifications so there’s that too.

Sunday tea of tinned sardines on toast followed by a tin of fruit salad with some Carnation evaporated milk. A treat I was told. I don’t think so now but they were simpler times.
