Bad news.
I am in attendance
Last game I saw us win in the flesh was Wigan at home.
Just realised how long ago that is.
I can confirm I will be ever so slightly drunk and buzzed up so I’ll comply with the request for vociferous support. However, if everyone’s favourite Captain turns up with Weetabix Wrists and Popadum Hands whilst wearing deep sea diver boots I cannot guarantee that will remain positive for the duration |

Without doubt he’s the best thing about the club at the moment
As I’ve said before he’s still learning so will get better and better
The club should be looking to enhance and strengthen his Contract now, no matter what, then hopefully he will have buy in to shape the place for the next three years.
I’m a lapsed ST holder but might consider renewing if Marti is on board for a whole season.
Pray to all your Gods he’s with us in the Championship next season |

I remember an while ago a group of people proved this.
They bought a brand new smart phone, set it up as a brand new account, didn’t use it for anything at all by way of searches, text etc
It was left on a coffee table and the group randomly chatted and ensured they spoke about some obscure car - a Volvo model of some sort I think. They only spoke of the car when round that table and didn’t search it or text about it. The only devices in the room were their phones.
True enough all their accounts got adverts linked to the Volvo car including the brand new phone thus proving the always on always listening theory
For years a mate of mine has insisted “they” can track you and listen in on you even if your phone was off. He said the military had been doing it for years. I was sceptical thinking it was a bit tin foil hat.
Along came COVID and the times of things being installed on your phone that you didn’t sanction and my view certainly changed.
Is what it is but it does concern me that a few things previously dismissed as conspiracy theories are now coming ever more true. |

The only thing you can predict in football is that Man City & Chelscum will get away with murder, Leeds will be on the TV if in the EFL and that Keith Stroud is going to referee one of our key upcoming fixtures.
Yesterdays results in the Prem back up this unpredictability.
Never expected Palace to get anything at Anfield and then once it had happened I fully expected Arsenal to win and take advantage.
The results at our level are beyond barmy.
I keep changing where I am at with it all as one minute I think one win will do it, then a win and a draw, then two wins...... I've decided it's not really in our hands and what will be will be.
Just hoping that Legohead Wells has saved us...... If so I'll love that man even more. |

Becoming a crunch game for Leeds as well who, like a few clubs, are shittin the bed whenever opportunities come their way.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more demand for tickets and I'm sure touts will be out and looking to make a few quid (no matter where in the world they are from).
I've cancelled my ticket to this one as hadn't realised the Friday switch meant a clash with something we'd promised friends we'd do for them.
That was further proof to me at my drift from the club as up until about two years ago I would have moved holidays and all sorts to ensure I was at this game. |

Gotta be honest the season has probably gone better than I expected.
To still be in with a chance of staying up is miraculous
To have had EIGHT chances to do ourselves a favour was amazing.

My thoughts entirely
We have burned EIGHT chances to enhance our chances.
It is a minor miracle we are still in with a shout of staying up and for that we can thank Nakhi Wells and his divine 100th minute intervention last weekend.
Lose to PNE and it's curtains, blinds and the whole bloody bay window.
Draw with PNE and it;s a whole load of Hail Mary's required.
Should we somehow win then I'd say safety all but done. |

I totally appreciate the table tells the story of a season and you are where you are due to 46 games of slog
However - at the business end of the season it’s all about moments.
That fine demonstration of Weetabix Wrists cost us 2 points for sure and if you look at the table that two points is bloody massive as well as what it did for a rival. So, at the moment I believe people are right to believe he’s a major part of us having very squeaky bums this evening
The best moment for me today was lovely old Lego-head Nakhi slamming in a pen in the 100th minute……. That moment could be defining and thank god he didn’t do a Birmingham 3-4 on us.
Now we just need three results in our favour being a win for us and a loss each for Hudds and Weds. Those moments can’t come soon enough and if Begovic keeps a clean sheet or two then fantastic and good for him. |

I’ve sort of felt I’m maybe being over critical of the Danish Jesus whenever I’ve seen him play but he’s yet to prove me wrong.
Not seen all his games and I will say we did need bodies in. However he looks to me to be exactly what it said on the tin when signed — previously great player injured for years and on a downward trajectory; looks like he’s running In porridge |

That Nakhi goal reminds me of the one scored in our favour as we trudged away from Port Vale second last game of the season in May 1999.
We’d lost 2-0 and were effectively relegated until WBA scored very late on v Bury in a game delayed for some reason.
That goal gave us hope and we beat Palace 6-0 to stay up and Bury dropped.
Hopefully Nakhi has done the same but we need 1 win coupled with a defeat from Hudds and Chef Weds as our GD will somehow save us.
