..occurred to me that Gladwin has many similarities:
- perceived talent to go to next level but not getting there..

Be fair- he is the alternate case to say Dele or Gayle . This Jan it's Lookman.
Personally I think Bamford would be a great pick up.....if.....

1- Les and Ollie represent the club and we love that, but criticism is still healthy.
He has made some choices we don't like and some we do.
2- I for one felt furlong Jr should have been the first choice right back all year.

Great conversation one that I think was needed. With 6 points and less tension your points are better taken. For me, I alluded to the fact in business sooner or later attention turns and no one is immune. That said Dave I can't argue with anything you said.

Factoring in today's results and news - it really does look like our management group will not tolerate slackers and folIs who won't play for the badge. I hope Chery gets us something by way of a good fee. Pp

The point has been made, remade and repeated not just here but one even pundits have chimed in. Despite Holloway knocking it down earlier, I think Kenny Jacket is a good shout and definitely there are others, not just Gerry and Wilkins who are good tacticians.no reason Birch shouldn't stay in the set up as well.

Very happy with the win! Not just because of the timing but with a half of the first team out. I can't resist keeping up the dialogue about Manning and his work with Sandy. I for one would love to see Sandy reverse his image and better yet form a partnership with the youngster. Not missed as the reported dig at players not wanting to play (who?) yet Sandy is in there.

Interesting mention of changes too. Players leaving obviously but I suspect a few surprises .

Opinion: stop the rot. Like to see Ollie surrounded by football tacticians !
Consistency at the top, precision planning in support. Happily see Gerry Francis here, plenty of others could be #2. C'mon R's! Away win at Wolves with backs to the wall. ....confidence boost!

At what point does Les himself become the target?
To me the spiral really picked up velocity two years ago with his hiring.

I have enjoyed the group here by and large and I agree with the broad opinion that LFW has been a safe (relatively) haven to just dump some emotions. I think also the QPR brass do listen as well.
I certainly have enjoyed several moments with my brethren thanks to Djibril, Adel and Zamora.
Shared many memories too. Hopefully this dross of a year will retreat quickly.
Bring in Ray Wilkins !

Ask Chelsea....they can't be too sad right now.
Oh /sacking does work...if it didn't it would not be used so often.
But sometimes u have to keep experimenting with the recipe. This does remind of last year except instead of Ollie it was NW ...another interesting element here is IF Rowett was available he would probably have been hired twice now......
IMO- Yes Ollie is probably here because it's QPR but he could as others said step back from this mess to be a realistic step forward. By that Rowett could come ala Steve or Hoddle and allow a transition with Rowett ( or other) taking over. Sure...I know unlikely...

January is 2 weeks away and Sir Les first choice for manager has just come free.
I for one would not be surprised to see a change, it is after all cheaper to make changes in the dugout. And ...I doubt a change would make things worse.

Bad day...
- squad if fine IMO. Agree there is not enough of a team concept...definitely not attacking philosophy. Irony to me as that pic of Ramsey...we have a coach in house who WAS good in the attacking phase but could not defend. This was not simply a loss...it was the rank ineptitude of the loss...no plan, no execution, no shots, no scoring threat. Not close to the exhibition vs Watford in preseason or even the early weeks of September.

Match facts are pretty damning. The summation being our eleven run around like mice with no plan. Gary Rowett is finally free ....QPR no known for patience.
