really like this guy, cannot believe he's not been snapped up already by a good championship or a lower premier league club.

29 years old so good age for a 3 year contract. fingers crossed that the rumour linking him is founded.

Rooney Rule for African National Teams?
at 22:12 1 Feb 2015

I would definitely like to see more black managers in english football however I am against the Rooney rule.

Saying that how about the Rooney rule being used for African national managers. Why the hell should we be constantly reminded and made to feel guilty in england about a lack of black managers when white managers for African National teams seems to be standard?

Paris Shootings...

Shocking.

We'll now be told by our western leaders how we mustn't let this affect our daily lives.

...but it will. The threat of having an office sub-machine-gunned will affect freedom of speech. That's because media etc will not risk possible insults to islam anymore.

They win.

Championship Playoff Dates 2014
at 22:14 14 Apr 2014

Thursday 8th May : 6th at home to 3rd
Friday 9th May : 5th at home to 4th

Sunday 11th May : 3rd at home to 6th
Monday 12th May : 4th at home to 5th

Amazing how quickly this happens after the last league game on the 3rd May and with only 3 days between the 2 legs.

Looking very much like away to Wigan on Friday night and at HQ on Monday night (or vice versa)

ps. apologies if I missed this on anther thread but worth re-posting all the same.

QPR 2012/13 - the $64,000 dollar question
at 22:29 2 Mar 2013

Right, today has confirmed that there's still hope.

But how the hell do we become a team who only snatches the odd win against the run of play to a team that starts to dominate games? We've only outplayed a very lack-lustre Fulham all season.

We have options but unless we start retaining possession then survival remains an impossible dream.

Thoughts?

Taarabt the new Buzacky
at 23:39 23 Feb 2013

Oh we're QPR fans, so a touch of skill here and a flick there seem to make a player beyond critism.

The combination of watching MOTD and having a few beverages has inspired me to share my extremely unpopular belief that Taarabt is frankly the reason why we're neither scoring goals or creating chances. I'm judging him purely as a premiership player and the fact that his 40+ appearances have delivered very little.

To his credit he seems to be more motivated and harder working than previous seasons but our last 5 games at home have been without a goal and for me he's the main culpit.

He was piss poor today but bar the Fulham game and Chelsea away he's done very little since promotion. He looks overweight, unfit and one early substution away from a bus ride home. I cringe at his 25 yard pea roller shots or his free kicks.

Bet that he still thinks, like most Rangers fans do, he's our best player.

Tin hat is on.

Would this team of off-casts beat our current team?.....
at 13:36 9 Dec 2012

Kenny
Connolly, Gorkks, Delaney, Ramage
Puncheon, Reid, Leigertwood, Routlege
Helguson, DJ Campbell

Well they would certainly run them close and cost about a quarter of the wages.

Stoke v Bolton
at 20:10 6 May 2012

Our biggest match that we're not involved in since Liverpool v Wolves in '76

Reasons to feel optimistic...
+ Stoke can move up 3 places
+ They would want to avenge the 5-0 defeat by Bolton in Nov
+ At home (thank fcuk) and driven on by their partisan fans
+ sure Crouch would love to keep us up
+ Bolton keep bottling it

and bricking it...
- safe and de-motivated
- Pulis hates Hughes
- they looked poor today
- may play an experimental formation and/or give bench warmers a run out
