Gove
at 12:39 11 Oct 2017

Surreal moment on way into work this morning.

I can see in the distance someone jogging in a blue and white shirt. As he gets closer it was Michael Gove wearing a 70s retro QPR top.
Didn't know whether to trip him up or say You Rsss, so did nothing.

Brixton Academy Info

Not been to Brixton Academy for at least 10 yrs now.

Has anyone been in the upper area recently? Last time I was there, anytime we needed to jump with wild abandon the gestapo insisted we sit back down, is that still the case or are things a bit more relaxed?

Think I’ve missed out on tickets for standing area below ( Run The Jewels )

Oh God, he's the "man in the middle" so the offish says.

He loves a red card, I think he was the one who couldn't get the card out fast enough when Shaun Derrymylord was sent off v Manure a few seasons ago.

Also the playoff final - although that card was nailed on.

Glass half empty (as usual)

Cycling in France_Belgium
at 15:33 22 Aug 2016

I know there’s a few keen cyclists on here, so looking for any advice pls.

Got a window of opportunity next week so possibly looking to cycle for a few days in France & Belgium for the first time.

I think I’ll get ferry from from Dover to Dunkirk then hopefully from there through De Panne, down towards Roubaix then back towards Ghent.

I did want to get to the Paterberg , Koppenberg or even both, is that doable? Anyone had any experiences of the roads out there?

Cheers,

Not much changed from the Ramsey era really.

A forgetful 1st half really, briefly looked slightly better when Philips was moved to the right but with no proper target man we really suffered.
2nd half only came to life once the subs came on, Polter, Chery chasing balls down which was missing earlier on but again we can't hold onto a lead.

Fair play to Wells that looked a great free-kick.

Any peeps on here try to buy one in their 1 hour, no, 2 hour since the servers can't handle the pressure extravaganza?

Looked like he wanted to take that penalty, retrieved the ball after ref gave it, walked with it towards the spot hoping that Charlie would say "all yours mate" No chance though.

If you’re coming in via A316 remember that the Hogarth flyover is closed and it takes an age to go thru those traffic lights, try to get onto the A4 before there.

Great line from QPRSludger on Clive's 1967 article - We've got to use Chhhhhharlieeeee tomorrow!

"The things I can remember are the beating of the drum and what seemed like the whole ground singing ‘Rooodneeeeee’. That chant wasn't really about Rodney, it was like a war chant that encompassed who we were at that time."
