A London derby, away from home, live on Sky? They were probably checking for methadone.

I think it's okay to criticise him though. Three draws = one win and two defeats. Warnock wins that match last night; that's the difference between our current manager and what we've had in the past. I just can't stop thinking this season was our best opportunity to get in the play-offs for years and 0-0s at Charlton, while not the end of the world, don't achieve anything.

That station really isn't equipped for large crowds, is it?

He just doesn't look strong enough. At Portsmouth last season he was being flung around like a rag doll.

The irony is we've signed all these wingers and the much criticised Paul Smyth is still the most reliable of them.

Saito was dreadful last night and I do not understand how Kolli sits on the bench for 75 minutes.

Was definitely a threat in the air, particularly in the first half, and obviously stopped us scoring at the end. I like Lyndon for how he came off his sick bed to play for us, so hope he has a good World Cup.

Should have lost but for Walsh and their crap shooting.

We need a discussion on how crap Saito has been since he came back. Awful again tonight.

We looked so much better when Stephan finally put Kolli on. He's a class player, play him!

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior on what he thinks is his best XI: "I got asked this question not long ago - I don't have a best XI. I have a best starting team and a best finishing team. I don't think best XIs are the way to go. I'm learning about the group all the time. They know the journey I want to go on with them."

He really is David Brent.

Football has gone so far up its own fundament that a team (that cost millions to assemble) can approach a second leg it needs to win by barely having a shot on target. They were happy to be 0-0 at half-time and the commentators seemed more impressed by Rosenior sticking three men up at Arsenal corners than the fact they barely tried to score. So bizarre.

Yes, really shocking as he'd been commentating on the Masters recently.

You can see why we're picking up young fans in such numbers. Tbf the Arsenal-United game was decent because they got turned over and their fans found it traumatic to actually lose a match at home (the Guardian article by one of their fans is beyond parody).

Part of the problem is a lot of the Premier League 'consumers' don't actually like football.

Tactical masterclass from Rosenior too. Did anyone tell him how aggregate scores work?

Jesus, this Chelsea game must be the most boring match I have ever seen. Really sad that this is what football has become at the highest level. Absolutely interminable.

That definitely trumps the Dave Beasant salad cream incident. The moral of the story is keep Yellow Jersey Ben away from fireworks, condiments and vacuum cleaners.

Yes, I agree. Injuries notwithstanding, we should be targeting the play-offs; if we'd beaten Wrexham, we'd be sixth.

I don't understand why people keep saying next year is the one. Top-class sports people and teams are ruthless; if there's an opportunity, they take advantage of it. This season is a huge opportunity with two of the relegated teams below par and the other one not guaranteed automatic promotion. Hull, with a transfer embargo, are third!

Yes, we could do well next season but we must try and get in the play-offs, where anything goes.

Oh, no worries. Just thought I'd make it clear lol.

And for complete honesty, I do think Sam has been poor when he's played this season and I'm not surprised he's left this window but it can't be easy finding your form and rhythm when you're getting 15 minutes here and there. Obviously, he's been a great servant for us over the last few seasons but if the manager doesn't rate you, you're got no option but to leave.

Just to make clear, that's not me. That account does represent what many of the younger 'ballers' think of him though.
