Profligate QPR punished by Sarr's sickener - Report
Great report Clive, sounds like a really entertaining game if you can get over the disappointment at the end. After some of the turgid, dismal rubbish we have watched over recent years it really is great to not only be entertained the way we are but also to be in our current mid table position, so far ahead of where we thought we would be.
Yes we could be higher up, but after the summer it could have been so much worse.
All the best to you for Christmas and the New Year. As ever Loft for Words continues to excel at what it does and I, along with many others, thank you for that.
QPR take excellent point from Wayne's World - Report
My understanding is that the law permits you to feint in the run up, but you cant feint to kick the ball once the run up is complete. Happy to defer to someone more expert than I though!
Excellent report Clive, with some great one liners - delighted with a point on Saturday...
QPR punished by Leeds for lack of self belief - Report
Really good summary Clive, the keep things in perspective point about how well we have done so far being particularly salient given some of the nonsense I saw spouted on Twitter yesterday.
Thst said I came away from the game yesterday reflecting on the disappointment that we had barely laid a glove on a Leeds team, that on the day was some way short of their best.
Naïve QPR caught in Cardiff trap – Report
Interesting Clive. Some well made points and agree that defensively we need to be better and more ruthless in the final third.
That said I do think we have come a million miles. All the misery of the past 2 seasons almost being forgotten, playing our (very good) youngsters at last, winning away from home (at last), having a good hard working squad (that seems United rather than divided) and playing some really good football.
Yes stuff still to do but cup more than half full for me and by some margin.
A win tomorrow would be nice
End of Term Report 18/19 - Defenders
I think this is a very fair assessment.
I'm a bit sad Bidwell is going. I assume his salary no longer fits our wage structure. Whilst we may not remember him in future years and he may not fit the requirements for a full back to rampage up and down the wing, he has been dependable, always fit and other than when the team implodes completely always a solid 6 or 7 out of ten,
I fear we will struggle to replace with better

Good report Clive. I thought the subs were excellent and definitely made the difference second half, although I thought Luongo also worked tirelessly throughout.
Hopefully something we can now build upon.
QPR plumb new depths in Rotherham debacle - Report
Excellent, hard to disagree with a single word. The last two sentences say it all really. If it wasn't for the fact we probably can't afford to pay him off and that there is no one obvious who would want to come, then SMc would surely have gone after that. I fear for Saturday. Cameron should be the first name on the team sheet.

Great review Clive and captures perfectly what life has been like for a Rangers fan over the past 25 years or so.
As ever it's the hope that kills you, but you cling on to it. It's a funny old game...
Roofe plagues R's again in tale of two penalties - Report
To be fair to Leeds, they are a decent side and struggling currently with a number of injuries.
I actually thought Rangers played pretty well. The first 15 minutes were a bit rocky, however we settled down, looked compact, closed the ball down and looked to hit them on the break. As we know that approach has worked well in recent weeks and we could easily have nicked a point here with three very good chances in the second half.
Generally I found Leeds a much friendlier place than on previous visits (no doubt helped by the fact things are going for them right now). I was sat in the Main Stand with some friends and after the game the Leeds fans I spoke to were all relieved to have gained the 3 points and were surprised how well organized Rangers were.
As an aside I sat next to a guy who was at the game working for Villa and watching Rangers. The only thing he wanted to ask me was about Eze - he made notes for about 20 minutes, put away his notepad after that and left after about 65 minutes. He pointed out another bloke to me at the end of the row who apparently is quite a well known scout - he spent most of the first half asleep and also went not long after half time...
QPR go three for three at expense of Villa and Terry - Report
A tremendous week and I'm so pleased with the progress the team has made and the discipline/character on display. Credit to the team and the coaching staff for where we have got to.
That said to Myke's point above, I'm still sore about Blackpool...
