Yes Clive, agree about Jake , he reminds me a lot of Roy McFarland at Derby, ( a great Centre Half who was clever, physical when he needed, and could take the ball up the pitch, playing next to Colin Todd helped as well!).

Excellent match report, (painfully accurate), had visions of those two? Nahki Wells penalties against Birmingham? but all is now forgiven.
Yes, Hull were good, (they were at our place), should be interesting now that Leicester and Leeds are trying to play their way into the relegation battle.

Banham always controls game, ( even sitting 60 yards off).
A draw would have been ok, and yes Marti has quite correctly accepted some responsibility for this dreadful performance.
Marti a tadge slow in reacting to Sheffield Weds changes in second half.

Typical wonderful QPR! MOM impossible step forward everybody, very pleased for Jimmy Dunne.
Andy Davies never once smiled all afternoon, he looks like he really hates what he is doing, the first half 50/50's were a joke, Dykes brought down again and again, (forwards normally get those), the Chair take out was disgraceful from Davies, big games ahead for him in the Chiswick and District League, (well obviously no top of the table clashes).

What an afternoon Clive!
Yes really good game to watch, both teams going for it.
Definitely Hayden MOM, ( class). Really like what Marty doing with Sinclair, yes he was quieter this week, but again his overall game continues to improve .
The nervousness at HQ beginning to disappear, finished game going for winner, crowd were great.

Very, very, good match report Clive, yes, that's how I saw the two Penalties, no to Smyth, nailed on for the bloke in the box catching it and throwing it to his right back.
We were very good, as mentioned Begovic excellent, much improved Sam Field, ( just edged by Begovic).
Clive, I agree that the selection issues dictate our performance and the individuals concerned, but I wonder if we ran ourselves into the ground against Southampton and the tank was empty?
Smyth should have buried that chance but assumed the keeper had it, ( he should look at some old Ferdinand videos where ball and keeper would have finished in the back of the net, be certain!!!
Very good to watch with the usual diabolical Refereeing decisions.

Chair has run himself into the ground, and yes this style of play really suits him and Willock and Clarke Salter, Hull were good and on another day with another Manager would have taken us apart.
A real thank you to the lads and lasses who travelled to Preston, the crowd noise/ support took me back a bit, ( the fans have been amazing).
I think you deserve a game like this Clive to be able to write a match report like this!

What a great second half! Absolutely correct Clive, it's a long , long time since I have seen us do and play like this, the tight passing, the off the ball movement, ( all in such a short space of time.
Chair, Willock, Clarke Salter, Dixon Bonnar they all looked a yard faster than their counterparts.
Well done the travelling fans, great noise, great support.

I guess as things have deteriated over the last 12 months we have sort of accepted the appalling standard of Officials, but Saturday was the last straw for me, ironic it should happen on the same day as the Spurs v Liverpool fiasco, ( maybe legal action might concentrate minds? Liverpool not us).
