They'll be extending the playoffs to 16th soon Ted, so we should be in the money!
The patience, restraint and due diligence people have shown offering fair reflections on people who are clearly not up to their jobs has been hugely impressive. It does really stem from the absent owners. Think they did the right thing appointing a Nourry type figure... think they just got the wrong guy.
It's clear the club needs a reset, that said if we could only get our first 11 onto the pitch I really don't think we are a million miles off it... guess it's the hope that kills you in the end! |

I really rate Kolli and am gutted to see what is / has happened to his development, but if you read the thread you would be aware not all these posts are about Kolli; but much more sinister and worrying undercurrent of what is currently being played out at our football club. Maybe acceptable by your standards, certainly not by mine. |

In addition, who on earth does said *coach* think he is... wasn't even (allegedly) in the continent last season and thinks he can chuck it around like that to the players. Some cheek IMO. |

Thanks Clive, got me through a rather tedious afternoon at work.
Work most definitely to be done, let's hope it comes together tomorrow night.
On the Nardi conversation I feel very much you reap what you sow, very similar to the Paal situation last season as you touched upon. Doing what we have done for the last 10-15 years, plenty of chat, very little minerals or nous to execute it. [Post edited 4 Nov 2025 15:28]

Absolute legend as a number 9 and scored some brilliant goals for us, with an even better record. Probably our best centre forward since Sir Les.
One thing I must say is I watched his ‘warm up’ in the Sunderland League cup game (shoot the lino) and I have never seen a worse array of finishing. Literally every shot he took was high, wide and not very handsome. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing, admittedly he was long past his best at this point, but it was an absolute disgrace. |
