Rangers second string drew 1-1 away at Southampton, earlier this evening at St Marys.

In what is becoming very much the norm for reserve outings, a very young line up took the field against the high flying Saints, with Chris Barker and Zesh Rehman, the only first teamers in the side. Marek Saganowski,Vincent Pericard, Nathan Dyer and Alex Ostlund were in the Southampton side, who, if are victorious their last game against Watford, will win the title.

With all things considered, this was a very creditable result for the R's. Southampton took the lead on 76 minutes through McGoldrick, but substitute, Lee Brown levelled the scores in stoppage time.
