Coggins in charge of Plymouth trip - Referee

Antony Coggins, who refereed Plymouth's first round League Cup win a year ago, is in charge at Home Park again this Saturday, his first QPR appointment.

Coggins refereed 24 games last season with the vast majority in Leagues One and Two and one Championship outing at Swansea 0-0 Barnsley. He showed 79 yellow cards (3.29 a game) across those games and just a single red in Sunderland’s 1-0 win at Tranmere. He was also in charge of Plymouth’s first round League Cup tie last August when they defeated Leyton Orient 2-0 on this ground. In 2018/19 his averages were higher, with 132 yellows (3.56) and three reds in 37 games, led by eight yellows and a red at Swindon’s 0-0 draw with Mansfield.
