From what I can see, there will be some loan players going back in January but who else will leave the club?
Lillis - loan ends, although Scunthorpe have 4 other keepers so unless they loan him somewhere else he may come back.
Grant - once his loan is confirmed he is here until middle of December, depends if he plays if he stays on longer.
T Kennedy - given that Leicester didn't let him play in the FA Cup they'll take him back and possibly loan him out elsewhere or back to us.
Josh Thompson - not appeared for a while and can't see Celtic letting him sit on the bench for much longer.
The others that are not loaned but are on 6 month deals and could go are:
Goddall - 6 month contract but out on loan at Newport, can't see how he comes back in unless Kennedy goes back to Leicester and Hill doesn't bring anyone in to cover Widdowson
Done - again 6 month deal, has found chances hard to come by but when he does get a chance and some ball, he looks decent to me. I think it would be a real shame if he went as he does provide width and can cross.
The rest of the squad are on 2 or even 3 year deals so it would be too expensive to let any go. That's not to say they should be let go but if Hill wanted to, realistically, who is going to offer money for them? So Elding, Akpa-Akpro, Joey Thompson will all be here still.
Nicky Adams is having his deal made permenant in January as well.
