Not sure why everybody is getting excited about a TV game (or not). It only means the kick off will moved away from 3 o'clock on a Saturday and therefore spoiling the occasion. I see both sides of the argument. TV cash and exposure for the club is vital. However, as someone who has to make a 440-mile round trip to attend the game, the potential of an awkward TV kick-off spot does throw a spanner in the works.
Ideally, even if selected for TV, it would be Saturday evening or, at worst, Sunday lunchtime. A Friday, Monday or Tuesday night game does little favours for anyone wanting to attend the game - especially away fans. |  |

I get the feeling if it was any other league 1 club it'd be a shoe in for a live game, a giant killing league 1 club against an established premierleague side, Dale are seen as one of the least "glamourous" clubs in the division despite our position, and I think it'll be easy for the powers that be to ignore us, hope I'm wrong mind you. |  |
