tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 1997206 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 14:00 - Jun 11 by batman

Two more CCJ's lodged
25/5 - £882
6/6 - £772

coming to something when you can't/won't pay even your smaller
creditors, who probably need the money more than most.

This despite the Chur saying he was due to receive £60 million

Wow,where is he getting £60million.......surely he's not a bitcoin boy?

If you are into markets and shares etc then expect a huge correction on the ftse soon. It’s massively overhyped imho and due a dive. I work in the industry and have moved all my pension funds to cash which earns sod all. It will come back but a correction to around 6000 on ftse is not far away.

Only my opinion and I don’t get 2 million a year as a mm or fund manager but we are due a big hit soon

By the time he’s paid his numerous loans off he might get 60 pence. Or of course he liquidates the loans and opens another shell company...

He mentioned the deal was worth £60 million.

The white chocolate smeared faces didn't ask the two questions they should have.

1. Awesome Mr Day is that turnover or profit?

This deal could have cost him £60 000 000 plus to pull off ( most likely )

2. How much of the cash will you be ploughing into bury FC?

erm - probably £0.

Bury’s accounts have been filed.

Not viewable for five days though, but they’re in.

I’m still going for Monday 2nd July.

My hypothesis:

1) The balance of the EFL money for this season and the first slug for 2018-19 is due then.
2) I expect players to be signed and then a pre-pack administration.
3) The points penalty will be swallowed but the administration will allow circa 80% debts to be written off - secured on the ground and owed to the pyramid of companies behind the Chur.
4) bury to come out of administration the week before the season starts.
5) A decent League 1 squad - will have a crack at winning League 2.

If they go into admin before 30th June they won’t get the EFL monies.

To extend your accounting period and file late accounts say the numbers must be really bad.

Even filing on Monday 2nd July now looks in doubt!

2017 results are in.

2.8 million operating loss
6.8 million cumilative debts including 5.1 million in VAT
4.3 million loans from Merderco (Stewie Day)

If somebody wanted to buy bury at the end of 2017 they would have a 11.1M liability and operating loss of 2.8M

Funniest of all they reveal that they paid £150K for Lee Clarke

Not too sure.

In the directors statement Stewie admits he has made mistakes in his eagerness to achieve and now realises that some things take a bit longer.

They have £2000 cash in hand. Money in the bank.

Auditors voicing concerns over them being a viable ongoing business.

They are losing £50 000 every week.

The first friendly in a couple of weeks time was supposed to be in a shiny new stadium.

They are a complete shambles and a joke of a club.

Tick tock.....

That £5.1m isn’t VAT Lama.

It’s “Other creditors” - most of which is owed to the Chur’s company and will never be paid.

In writing the post I did previously about expected administration this now has to be a formality.

Remembering that these accounts are for the season ending 31 May 2018 it was before they started the confetti three years contracts for Dawson, Beckford and others and sacked TWO managers!

Y/e 2018 has to have a similar operating loss.

The cynical timing of the filing can’t be ignored either.

These accounts were due at the end of February 2018 when bury were in a relegation battle.

The manipulation to file at the end of June 2018, legally, should be questioned.

As must be how you can sign players for next season, knowing you might not be around!

They are properly fooked.

The last page on that accounts thread has now been taken over by a debate on what constitutes a good academy. Well done Stewie, you’ve done it again. What should be a debate about a set of truly awful financial figures has descended into a debate about the academy. He’s throws them a bone and off they scamper. Some of them are truly unbelievable. You even had one poster suggesring that only having £2,000 in the bank and being millions in debt is actually, from a tax perspective, quite astute management from Stewie. Wow, just wow.

Hotels, no.
New stadium, no.
Worldwide scouting networks, no.
Youth academies, no.

You’re losing £50,000 a week ffs!!
