On that subject, today was conclusive proof that added time is dictated at times by the scoreline. With the stoppage for the pitch, injuries and subs, the was no way only three minutes would have been added if it had been 1-1 or 1-2. | |

Agree with that. One game against Coventry a few years back seems like a one-off. Possibly being harsh due to his lack of chances, but he showed nothing today, when you'd have expected him to really try to stake a claim, he didn't. | |

...that didn't go in. He should've closed down after the corner that lead to their goal too, I think (it was the other end of the ground from where I was but I thought he should've closed down much better). He doesn't appear to have the motivation, imo. | |

Why was it a one-off? When Tanser broke into the side a lot believed we had a potentially great player on our hands. He started off at centre half and performed admirably there before moving over to left back. His career stalled last season there's no doubt, but that happens and you're probably right that today didn't really see him take his chance. | |

Though not specific information, KH did allude to a disastrous week injuries wise on the training pitch on Dale Player.
To his credit he never offered this as an excuse and obviously didn't go in to specifics to alert the opposition.
So we have to make do with just the 11 wins out of 12 at home, Oxford were great today, helped by Conrad having a shocker, but if he hadn't, they'd have won 1 or 2 nil.
Tanser was no worse than anyone else, HM will learn from his lesson given out by Taylor today, On a different day, Hendo would have scored a hatrick.
In a play off place, fourth round of the FA Cup our bigger neighbours being in the bottom four isn't all that bad.
I hope SH gets sold and KH is offered some help in strengthening. |  |
