What we know so far. There won't be any trialists and the only youth player to go that we know of will be Danny Adshead who is 15 and not old enough for a scholarship yet. I should imagine there will be some of the youth team go as well but maybe not. |  |

Yeah there were comments on here about why he wasn't announced as one of the new first year scholars, seems he's still too young which is incredible really. Looking forward to seeing him in one or two if the pre-season friendlies. | |

Seems out of character for Hill to talk up Adshead like he is doing. I know the days of being able to keep someone under the radar are long gone, but he sounds a real prospect and Hilly seems very happy to let us know that. Guess its part of that building up the trust that the lad's parents have in Hilly knowing that he is handling him well. |  | | |

I think with the exception of Done there aren't too many strikers around who I'd rather us sign than Redshaw. Granted, he didn't have the best of seasons last year but he missed out on pre-season with Blackpool and then struggled with injuries and fitness for the rest of the year. A fully fit Redshaw offers a genuine alternative to Davies in terms of style, without us having to compromise too much on ability. |  | | |
