There are alot of conflicting messages positive and negative about the players without naming anyone but says he's not worried about being ready for the first game. Acknowledges not replacing Bunney last season was a mistake and also lapses in concentration especially at the end of games cost us.
Looking for a left footed defender and a goalkeeper to cover injuries.
Has someone on trial that's he's admired for a while but his careers fallen over the last 2/3 years at one point t looked like he was going to be a premier league player. Not sure we'll get to sign him as his agent is throwing his name around.

Hilly continues to contradict himself in post match interviews. After the Boro game he says he's not prepared to wait to replace the injury's at keeper and left back, and then says when pressed that he has to work with what he has. As great a manager as he is for us he is just crap at interviews.
His demeanour was very negative to me in addition to his baffling comments. He then says he still has issues with defenders mistakes but says Jim McNulty is a key player. Why can't you see what everyone else sees Keith, Jim is the issue, always has been, always will be.
I think we are a few players short of a great squad. Left back yes, centre half yes and probably another forward. Keeper Im happy with Lillis to be honest. Great midfield depth if we manage to keep everyone. |  | | |
