Haha, a Bromley mate of ours owns 2 motorbike schools in Rochdale.
We'll probably only bring circa 200 fans as it's a dog of a journey.
If we force a replay (doubtful) you have a worry as our new pitch plays to our advantage, but we've never beaten a league team in our history.

I moved from Red Lumb almost 38 years ago having spent 17 years there. Never heard of the Grane Rd and can't find it on google maps so am guessing it's an old name I'm not familiar with? | |

Grane Rd?

It's a way past Red Lumb and Edenfield even - cuts the corner off when heading north up the M66/A56 onto the M65, from Haslingden to just the Dale side of Darwen. Reason I mentioned those roads was they were more like rivers than roads. I was heading North up the M6 ultimately, and didn't fancy going back down to the M60/roadworks/M61 at the time. Cracking on a clear day ...... not so good when it's going dark in the middle of storm Brian, whilst throwing up a 6 foot bow wave!
It was pretty noisy all night in Morecambe even with ear plugs in, but I think there are fellow Dale fans on the Fylde and certainly in Barrow. Suspect they were even more pleased to see the back of it than me. | |

While appreciating the thinking behind the decision not to use a stand, it's somewhat baffling to then create a situation where anyone who wants to sit cannot pay at a turnstile for a game where they're admitting they expect a low crowd.
