Same team as Tuesday. Disappointing. Surely being knackered after 65-70 mins on Tues the same team will be equally as tired if not more so today?

Hopefully we'll be 4-0 up before then.

Nice goal from a fast break forward. Hendo out to Inman who I think was trying to score when he clipped it by their keeper. Was just going wide but Done there to tap in. He has looked much livelier, and unlike previous games where he has run around a lot without touching the ball, he is in the game more

They have had a couple of good chances but I think as they push for an equaliser Done could well get behind the defence a couple of times

Let's hope we push for the whole 90

Getting nervy at the back. Bad error from Josh but had a lucky escape. We are starting to sit back too much for my liking.

Very welcome and a clean sheet to boot. Unlike the last 2 games the opposition didn't have their shooting boots and missed some good chances in the second half. Hopefully this is the kick start we are looking for.

I was watching on TV but sounded at times like a tornado jet was in the ground. Take it there were a few gusts of wind. Not sure if it affected play as it was not obviously affecting an advantage in either half

A scrappy but well received 3 points.

A very even game between 2 similar teams imo. I don't remember either keeper making a save but we took one more chance than they did. Hopefully we'll build on this at Plymouth.

A proper football match, played as well as possible by both teams given the conditions, and a welcome three points in the bag

The simple expedient of Done & Andrew swapping roles gave us some much-needed impetus and somehow we just looked improved all over the pitch. McGahey back to his best and my MoM, although no quibble with Andrew being named and everyone put in a shift. We had some defending to do at times and Done was pegged back in the second half, a couple of scrambles in the box fell our way for a change and I was back in "cheer" mode, both with our early winner (might've gone in anyway from Inman?) and at the final whistle

Done up top, well done Hilly.

Swapping Inman and Williams (12) to give Bunney some additional protection, well done Hilly

A win in aweful conditions, well done all.

A pitch that took that downpour easily, well done pitch.

Have to say I was not overly impressed with Bunney defensively today, on a different day we could have been punished for his mistakes. Also, he appeared exhausted after 65 mins.

On a side note, I started to see more of the classic Dale I used to watch today but I'm still concerned about how far we are sitting back once we've scored and the fact that our players really struggle to see out a full 90 mins. Hoping Hilly is working in fitness during the week

Bunney man of the match for me today. Thought he was superb.

I hardly ever subscribe to the 'sitting back' comments. There's another team on the pitch who are doing more pressing because they are behind. They also made three attacking substitutions.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Enjoyable game amidst the storm, and one that had some genuinely quality passages of play from both sides, but also amateurish play at times too. Done had his best game by far since returning, and unsurprisingly it was as he was playing centrally up front. Inman, Henderson, Camps and McGahey all played well, but my MOM was McNulty.

I feel he needs to be tighter at the back, lost his man on a few occasions today. I reckon he would make an excellent winger/wing back

The difference to Done, our play and the opposition with his restoration to his most productive role was clear for all to see. He plays on the shoulder and makes defenders think and they drop off a few yards because of this, that leads to more space.

When he swapped with Andrew it was maybe out of necessity but the Rovers defence knew that threat behind had gone. It wasn't as noticeable thanks to an effective display for Davies, but the first half illustrated why we have at least found something of an answer towards the tempo/playing on the front foot issue.

Not really been a fan of Henderson in midfield, but credit where it's due today as he put in a good display linking play. Both him and Camps can see the advantages of a half-turn forwards as opposed to backwards.

It wasn't a perfect display but it was obvious where are strengths lie, and that's getting men running into space in the opposition's half - with or without the ball. It's also a day when those who doubt the direction can see that finishing in lower mid-table is ok if we see performances like today. Well done to the players for their efforts and the manager for making the positive changes.

I accept that for the first half, but in the second half the sitting back seemed to be because of stamina rather than a tactical decision

Bunney is very much a work in progress defensively, but he was often left 2v1 today as Inman is more attack minded (paid off with the goal)

Bunney's crossing however is top notch, with a nippy striker getting on the end of them (hello Matty Done) that is a great attacking outlet.

Not good really. Williams12 was either injured or doesnt like rain. His worst performance yet. Lilllis howler and fortunate and stupid foul by Camps at the end. But 3 needed points. Can only get better.

We started the game well and could have been a couple up early on. Bunney put in a few good deliveries. They then dominated most of the rest of the first half. In the secondary half, apart from one shambolic moment we looked quite save. The weather was awful and hard to play in. When Williams broke and attempted a cross field ball it was like he was kicking a plastic ball.

McGahey looked good again as did Inman. I was surprised Rathbone didn't common for Williams who looked knackered.
