Doncaster render traditional hoops obsolete:
Home: 5/10, a reasonable idea spoilt by the absence of a dominant third colour. It’d be a 7 or 8 with black shorts and socks. The white becomes overwhelming.
Away: 3/10, it’s like a Global Hypercolour t-shirt but not as good. Far too much red too. First thought should be a total avoidance of any clash.
Everton bring back the Umbro diamonds:
8/10, the different types of blue fabric work really well and that collar is nice too. The diamonds trim almost makes up for that ba&tard Angry Birds logo. Almost.

Inverness h: 8/10, clever interpretation of their colours. They always come up with a variety of ways to change things effectively.
Ross h: 8/10, that’s a cool way to include a trim of two different colours, brilliant idea.
Bilbao’s stripes are twice as good as Madrid’s in the battle of the At(h)letic(o)’s
Walsall h: 4/10, never understand why Errea get boring when they show they really aren’t. Away is 7/10. Bloody funny to see Salwa’s link to our supposedly bespoke design too. Please note Shrewsbury have gone down this route too and have our black third shirt as theirs next season. Clubs are so lazy.
Stevenage can have an overall 8/10 for maintaining a design across both strips. And the home one sticks to tradition whilst being a bit off the wall.

It’s definitely a style that would appeal to Nigerians. Also they did not manufacture enough kits at one time so there was a shortage of both in Nigeria itself. Just reached a population of 200 million ( 1 African in 5 is a Nigerian) so selling out not unexpected in a football mad country.

I’m a fan of the Ipswich home kit, they’ve often used red well as a third colour 8/10.
South Shields are very Burnley, ok for a Puma template. 6/10
Really interesting set of new numbers after the League have linked up with Mind. Having the first letter incorporating Mind’s logo is really clever, though it means kit men will have to pay attention!
