Watching that Spain/Portugal game just shows how far away England are from competing. You don’t get carried away with England’s chances anymore until a few days prior to a tournament when you think there may be a glimmer of hope, then you watch Spain completely control a game (certainly 2nd half, I missed the 1st half) and realise that we will have to settle with quarters at the very best. What a team Spain are, my money is on them now. |  |

You need a bit of luck in any tournament, an injury to a vital player or a decision not going your way can mean you get knocked out. Certainly Spain can win it - and if you are going off recent history you would say Germany,Brazil,France and Argentina have a chance. I'm looking forward to watching England and if Kane can hit some form we can upset any team. Winning a knock out game would be a start - something we haven't done in any tournament since 06. | |
