I don't think first team experience counts for much when PL clubs are looking at L1/L2 players to be honest. Look at the players Bury have sold to bigger clubs in the last few years - Ferry, Bedeau, Miller, Foulds, Obi, Ruddy etc. only had a handful of appearances between them. |

Delaney has bags of potential there’s no denying that but I’m not getting too carried away just yet.
Burton are a decent club with a good set up and didn’t really rate him, hence how he ended up with us.
Not slating the lad by any stretch but I’d say he needs to develop a lot more before he’d be a regular in a top League One team. | | | |
