Sunderland off to a good start? 12:46 - Jul 14 with 2782 views49thseason

Lost 1-0 at Darlington in friendly. Oh dear, never mind, we have all been there.

You cant read much into that at all.

Jack Ross is a very good manager. I hope he does well there, as he’s a decent guy, too.

Problem for Sunderland is lots of good managers haven't been able to turn the club around.

With the resources available to him anything other than league champions is going to be a failure.

Their fans do come across as full of themselves on social media. Would be nice to see them fall flat this season.

I agree with that. I feel he’s have been better at Barnsley or Ipswich, where the pressure would’ve been slightly less. Still, he pulled out of/didn’t get those jobs and has instead landed a contract that has set his family up for life.

Whereas our fans come across as normal eh, I’m not , you’re not and those that are permanently living on the moral high ground still have ‘bitty’ from nanny

Poll: Will you download and use the contract tracing App being launched by the Govt

On paper sunderland/Barnsley should walk the league. Can also see why Ross went to Sunderland, he'll either be lauded by them or it'll be career suicide (all be it with a huge severance pay)

I don’t know him, but if Wikipedia is to be believed the Hartlepool fans may disagree?

I wonder if Everton fans would agree: won 22 - 0 yesterday.
And of course the gigglers will be ecstatic with their goalless draw with Liverpool. Did their attendance yesterday mean they can pay their debts off?

When Hudds were promoted to the prem,we lost 5 and drew 1 of our 6 game pre season that championship season.Like i say,its all about fitness.

As for Bury,we murdered them the other night 0-4 yet i still say Liverpool are much better than us even though they only drew.Strong side they had out too.Great fitness workout etc.
As for Everton, they were up against a 7th tier Austrian team which is probably similar to our 12th if there is one,but you get my drift anyway.

Going off meeting him, I’d say he was a decent guy.
