Tavares was the stand out player and Lewis White also. Tavares was given MoM award. He desrved it. Yonsian scored a good goal. Curled it beyond the keeper into the bottom corner of the net from inside the area, but from quite a difficult angle. | |

Good performance against what looked like quite a tricky MK side.
Yonsian and Tavares up front caused problems. Yonsian is big and gets about but Tavares is SO quick, he was giving their players 5 yards and still making up the ground. Could've had a few goals but their keeper had a great game and made 3 or 4 really good saves.
Neild and Hamzat (who was playing centre half) looked good, Hamzat looks big, strong and quick.
On the other hand, I thought Matheson had a quiet game and didn't do much which was a shame - was really looking forward to seeing him play. Louis White, playing in the middle of the centre halves in a sort of half-back role gave possession away a lot, especially in the first half, but also showed some good touches.
Hopper's challenge for the red card was a shocker and fully deserved his marching orders, sadly. [Post edited 12 Nov 2018 21:56]

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he had a bad game at all. I just thought he didn't influence as much as I'd expected him to, but that's only borne out of the high expectations he's set. It's easy to forget that he's only 16 and was probably the youngest player on the pitch! | | | |
