Chris Long was told by Barton at Fleetwood to get a new club a couple of weeks ago. They are paying up his contract in full despite only signing for them in the summer. Speaking to his cousin today (colleague) and he tells me a deal has been agreed over the weekend for him to sign for Dale in Jan. Blackpool were the other club in for him. £3k a week apparently.
